Big Hill Haven is more than a shelter.

Big Hill Haven offers support to adults, with or without children, experiencing abuse. We provide safe shelter spaces, outreach support, education, information, referrals, resources, safety planning, risk assessment, and advocacy.

Big Hill Haven services include, but are not limited to the following
areas: Bearspaw, Benchlands, Big Hill Springs Provincial Park, Bottrell,
Bragg Creek, Cheneka, Cochrane, Cochrane Lakes, Elbow Valley, Ghost
Lake, Ghost Reservoir, Ghost Village, Glenbow, Jumping Pound, McLean
Creek, Mini Thni, Mitford, Ozada, Spring bank, and Waiparous.

Mission

Big Hill Haven will provide a safe place for adults with or without children leaving domestic violence and empower them to rebuild their lives by providing support services and advocacy. We will lead our community in understanding the issues related to family violence in our community.

Our community has ended family violence through supporting and empowering families.
